If you have never had a storm inspection, it helps to know what actually happens. Here is what a thorough one looks like.
A full exterior check
We start on the roof itself. We check the shingles for hail bruising and wind creasing, inspect the flashing, valleys, vents, and pipe boots, and look at the gutters, downspouts, and any soft metal for dents that confirm hail.
The details that support a claim
We mark and photograph each point of damage, because clear documentation is what gets a claim approved. We also note the age and condition of the roof and any pre-existing issues, so there are no surprises later.
A written report and honest recommendation
You get a written summary of what we found and a straight recommendation: repair, replace, or no action needed. If the roof is fine, we will tell you. Learn more about our roof repair services.
How long it takes
Most inspections take about 45 minutes, and there is no cost or obligation. We walk you through everything we found before we leave.
