Can a Hail Damaged Roof Wait Until Spring in Fargo?

Which hail damage can wait?
Light granule loss with no exposed mat, a few dented gutters or downspouts, and cosmetic marks on steel siding can generally wait for a spring repair without harm. Damage that should not wait: exposed fiberglass mat, cracked or missing shingles, dented vents and flashing where a seam has opened, and almost anything on a roof older than fifteen years. Shingles that age have less flex left, so freeze cracks spread faster.
Can a roof still be replaced in October or November in Fargo?
